Functional movement practice deals with our ability to move and function more effectively in daily life, according to our specific individual needs. This practice diverts attention from "how the body looks" to the more important question of "how the body moves and functions." This is not a specific system but rather a systematic approach to practice that can be implemented flexibly, according to each exerciser's needs and abilities.
